Delivery & Shipping Information

Online / Telephone Orders:

Online and Telephone Orders placed before 1pm on a working day (Mon – Fri) will be processed and dispatched the same day. A working day is any day other than weekends and bank / other public holidays.

Every effort is made to dispatch items the same working day, however, if you have placed an order after the 1pm “cut off” time and have chosen a next working day delivery option, please contact our store and we will be able to advise you if there is still time to process and dispatch your order the same day.

Delivery charges normally apply to all Online or Telephone Order products unless specified as “Free Delivery” on the product page.

Depending on the weight, volume and value of your order and your delivery address, we will select an appropriate carrier to deliver your order. Most parcel orders are sent using Parcelforce who deliver Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) between the hours of 7am and 6pm.

Please ensure you supply a daytime delivery address for your order as a signature will be required. Shipping Options and prices for your selected item(s) will appear at the checkout stage.

Occasionally, oversized items and postcodes outside our courier’s standard delivery areas may attract additional surcharges outside of the prices listed on this page (the correct shipping fee for your item(s) and postcode will appear at the checkout stage). Please see below for a list of Postcode surcharge areas.

Surcharge Postcode Areas:

Due to the distance required to deliver items to the certain postcodes and “remote” areas, most courier companies charge a higher rate than that of mainland deliveries. This is simply because transport costs to cover this extra distance are higher than those of delivering to standard mainland areas.

If your address is within any of the postcode ranges below, you must select the appropriate option on the basket / checkout page. Please be sure to select the correct shipping option whilst placing your order as orders placed with an incorrect shipping zone may be subject to an additional charge and a possible delay.

Where possible, we will always try to offer the best value service / price for your order to be shipped.

Tracking Your Parcel:

Once Online / Telephone orders have been collected from Bestbuys by our Courier Partners, we have no control over the order and the couriers become responsible for the shipment. You will be sent an order tracking number in your confirmation email which can be used on the courier company’s tracking websites (Please see the links below).

Bestbuys will not be able to provide any further information other than what is listed on the courier’s tracking page. Customers may need to contact the Courier Partner directly for further information concerning shipment status.

Where a mobile telephone number has been provided, you may also receive tracking updates via SMS text messages from the Courier Partner.

Bestbuys and our couriers will not be held liable for any delays in delivery of your order if:

  • The consignment does not have a full address, postcode and telephone number.
  • Any computer system is affected directly or indirectly by any virus.
  • Force Majuere – anything outside the control of Bestbuys and our couriers including (but not limited to) fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, governmental act, act of god, terrorism, war, or from any industrial dispute whatsoever.

In Store Orders:

For items purchased in store and to be delivered by Bestbuys. Our warehouse team will contact you to arrange your delivery date and an estimated time. Delivery days are Monday to Friday, during working hours, by our own delivery team.

During our busier periods, we kindly request some degree of flexibility concerning delivery times.

Goods must be signed for on delivery and cannot be left unattended.

Whilst we will endeavour to take as much care as possible, our insurance is for door to door, ground floor delivery only.  Customers may request assistance in taking the order into the premises, but this will be at the discretion of the delivery team only, and will assume that there is safe and sufficient access. Due to current Health and Safety rules, we are unable to transport goods up or down flights of steps, lift over fences or walls, or carry long distances.

Please advise us if you have any special requirements, or delivery access issues in advance.
